Tips can be changed out easily - but be very careful to always pull straight out at a 90 degree angle and NEVER WIGGLE because that can put too much pressure and crack an end. If the tips have been hot glued in, twist gently and then pull straight out. You can remove hot glue with tweezers, a nail file, small screwdriver, etc. When putting a new tip in, make sure you are pushing it in at a straight 90 degree angle and again NEVER WIGGLE. If the fit is loose, you can use tape on the shaft or hot glue in the hole (that will wipe off of your pen easily). If you use super glue or epoxy, don't get any outside of the hole because those will damage the finish of your pen.

Different blanks have different limitations, we like to use the term "...as possible" (as thin as pos-sible or as thick as possible). That said, over time we have developed a business model that allows our customers to chose virtually any pen blank (baring structural limitations) from virtually any vendor and have us turn it to virtually any shape and thickness they can describe (again, baring the limitations men-tioned above).
